HI I'M YELENNE, THE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS

Born and raised in Cuba, so get ready for my Latin American accent! I attended medical school for almost four years, and I dreamed of becoming a trauma doctor or an internal medicine specialist. After moving to Canada, I got married and had three little ones, so I had to put that passion aside. I discovered the beautiful and artistic world of photography, and I've been doing it for almost six years now. It was a complete 180, but I trust that everything happens for a reason, and I couldn't be happier.

My clients gallery have a nice balance between beautifully posed shots and authentic, candid moments. The posed portraits have a clean, editorial quality, while the candid images bring out, real, unscripted emotions, telling the story of the day in an intimate way.

Each image is carefully composed, with an eye for symmetry and balanced. Im really intentional, emphasizing my beautiful couples !

I use a soft, muted palette that enhances the romantic feel of my work. Colours are gentle, true to tone and harmonious.

I love emphasizing the emotional connections between people. I capture the little glances, laughter, and intimate moments that reflect the genuine love between my couple, creating photos that feel personal and heartfelt.
